A little help getting started.

Public early release

This release provides offline BSB reading, a manual journal and optional email-account sync. AI features, paid upgrades and Google Play distribution are not included. Broader device, export, account-recovery, accessibility and update testing remains outstanding. Please keep exports of important writing and report problems with your app version and the steps involved.

Moving from staging

The production app and accounts are separate from the restricted staging app. Keep the staging installation and export its writing; your staging password and writing are not automatically transferred. Create and verify a production account on this website.

Download and installation

This is an Android app. Open the download journey on your phone. Keep Play Protect enabled. Allow installation only from the browser you use, when Android asks; turn that permission off afterwards if you wish.

If an update won’t install

Keep the installed app and its data. Do not uninstall it to work around a signature warning. Export your writing and contact us with your app version, Android version and the error wording. Do not send passwords or private journal entries.

Your writing and account

Device-only writing stays on that device unless you explicitly copy it into an account. Wait for “Synced” before relying on another device to recover account writing. Export a text or JSON copy before uninstalling. Exports are copies for you to keep; file re-import is not included.

Account recovery

Use Forgot your password? for an email account. Google sign-in is not enabled for the initial production release. Never share a recovery link or password with support.
